From Prototype to Real Innovation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

From Theory to Practice: First Steps in Design & Development <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Entering the world of professional electronics is often a bold leap from theory to practice. For M\u00e1rio Dias, that leap began at Exatronic \u2014 his first experience in a corporate environment. <\/p>\n

As part of the Design & Development team, M\u00e1rio quickly realised something important <\/span>\u2014 t<\/span>urning ideas into reality is a demanding but highly rewarding process. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt University, my reality was purely theoretical,\" he recalls. \"But here, I realised that academic knowledge is indeed an important starting point and an essential tool for anyone beginning their career. I learned to implement solutions that, besides being technically sound, must adhere to rigorous safety requirements and be ready for the market.\u201d <\/p>\n

In this initial journey, the team's support was essential. \u201cMore experienced colleagues were crucial. Always available, they guided me with knowledge and patience, ensuring my contribution had a real impact on the projects.\u201d <\/p>\n

It was during this time that M\u00e1rio began to shape his critical eye and strengthen the foundations that now support his work.<\/p>

The Transition to Industrialisation: From Prototype to Final Product <\/strong><\/h3>\n

After gaining confidence and experience in solution development, M\u00e1rio embraced a new challenge: joining the Industrialisation team. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a change in perspective,\u201d he shares. \u201cI stopped focusing on creation and started thinking about execution: how to make a prototype viable for large-scale production.\u201d <\/p>\n

In this new phase, he began to lead processes involving the definition of the production model and the entire supply chain, ensuring that each product is ready to reach the market in an efficient and sustainable manner. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It was like a whole new perspective on what it means to create technology. It's not enough for something to just work; it also needs to be manufactured with quality, while adhering to cost constraints and within a strict timeframe.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Optimisation Challenge: Innovation in Service of the Client<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Among the many projects that have shaped his journey, there is one that M\u00e1rio holds with particular pride: the energy optimisation of a retail product. <\/p>\n

The challenge was clear \u2014 drastically reduce the energy consumption of a high-volume system. But the solution was far from obvious. <\/p>\n

\u201cI had never worked with such a specific focus on energy efficiency at the component level,\u201d he admits. \u201cIt was a real puzzle.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWe managed to reduce consumption by 10% compared to the initial value. It was an impressive result, which made all the difference for the client and for the project, ensuring the product's viability in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Accelerated Growth in a Collaborative and Diverse Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Looking back, M\u00e1rio recognises that the environment he experienced at Exatronic played a decisive role in his career. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was lucky to be surrounded by people who know how to share, collaborate, and teach. This spirit makes all the difference \u2014 I grew quickly because I was never alone in the challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n

The diversity of projects and the fast-paced environment not only fuelled his technical development but also contributed to his personal growth. \u201cYou learn a lot in a very short time. This dynamism accelerates everything \u2014 critical thinking, autonomy, adaptability.\u201d<\/p>\n
