The solution to be developed can be structured into two distinct main blocks: one related to rumen pH monitoring, and the other dedicated to monitoring drinking\/washing water on farms. These blocks will then be integrated into a complex, multi-component monitoring solution that will support decision-making processes when necessary. In this way, the aim is, on the one hand, to increase producers' awareness of the need to reduce medication in animals and, on the other hand, to collect critical information for animal feed suppliers, who, based on the data collected, will be able to develop formulations specifically targeted at certain identified conditions. Indeed, the innovative and disruptive nature of the R&amp;W Clean project represents a strategic opportunity to deepen existing know-how in different scientific fields related to animal nutrition, enabling the generation of new scientific knowledge and the development of new technologies that ensure a clear advance in the current state of the art. R&amp;W Clean is promoted by a consortium of four entities: two companies \u2013 DIN (lead promoter) and EXATRONIC \u2013 and two non-business entities from SI&amp;I \u2013 the University of Porto (through its organic unit Instituto Ci\u00eancias Biom\u00e9dicas Abel Salazar) and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory. The first phase focused on the development and production of version V1 of Atena in 45 days, to be used in ICUs during the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with the standards applied by INFARMED for this phase. In this phase of Atena's upscaling, the objective is to develop an advanced version (V2), with an architecture (software and hardware) structured in subsystems, systems and modules that allows adaptation to the skills of the national industry and also allows compliance with CE certification for its large-scale production and internationalisation of the product. To this end, this project brings together CEiiA, DTx, EFACEC and Exatronic, to develop the processes for creating the value chain for this product, taking into account large-scale industrialisation, CE certification standards and trends in the evolution of invasive ventilators for decentralised treatment through remote monitoring to address the shortage of specialists able to operate this equipment. However, insufficient oxygenation has harmful consequences on all organs, and its late identification is associated with a worse prognosis for the disease. The TO2 project aims to develop and integrate sensors into portable devices for contactless measurement of physiological parameters indicative of COVID-19, namely decreased oxygen saturation (SpO2) and elevated body temperature, in places with high concentrations of people, particularly those where it is more difficult to ensure strict compliance with health or social distancing recommendations, such as public transport, airports, schools, businesses, shopping centres, conferences, events, shows, and even hospitals (triage), among others. This will enable the early identification of potential COVID-19 cases and prompt action, reducing the risk of community transmission of the new coronavirus and improving the effectiveness of treatments. the Government and the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) regarding the public health pandemic associated with the COVID-19 virus, Exatronic defined a Contingency Plan even before the state of emergency was declared and managed to maintain the company's core functions, ensuring the maintenance of all services, albeit not fully, due to the closure of public and private social support services for workers' families. Based on the guidelines of the WHO and DGS, the aim is to strengthen Exatronic's business continuity plan (BCP) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, expanding measures to protect workers through the management of the risk of COVID-19 infection associated with current operations. The project has a training component aimed at promoting worker health surveillance and improving their knowledge of preventive health, and a component aimed at increasing the material resources available to the company and the contingency plan to mitigate the risk of infection and spread of SARS-Cov2 in the company. The aim is therefore to invest in the following aspects:<\/p><p>1. Strengthen health knowledge management within the company and promote worker health surveillance.<\/p><p>2. Increase the circulation of fresh air, avoiding air recirculation.<\/p><p>3. Maintenance of the reinforcement of disinfectants already implemented in all circulation and permanence spaces in the company.<\/p><p>4. The company now guarantees the daily washing of gowns and other PPE used in hygiene and health tasks.<\/p><p>5. Time recording will now be done by facial recognition instead of fingerprint biometrics, which is not safe in the context of COVID-19.<\/p><p>6.
